Building a start-up is no easy feat, peer-to-peer connections can be vital for providing support and guidance to founders of all stages. The BioEntrepreneur Club brings together founders in a collaborative and supportive community, exclusively for life science entrepreneurs.

About

Exclusively for entrepreneurs building in bio.

Through our active community platform and regular events, we facilitate meaningful connections between life science entrepreneurs and provide unique opportunities for members to advance and develop their companies.

Community

Once a quarter, all members are invited to an exclusive but informal meet up. Our approach is centred around creating a relaxed and supportive environment for members to get to know one another, discuss challenges and share advice. No professional services. No students. No investors. Just founders.

All members of the BioEntrepreneur Club are also invited to join our WhatsApp community platform. Our platform is a safe space where we actively discuss common problems, debate industry news, share interesting opportunities and leverage collective experience and expertise. All with the aim of supporting one another and building the community together.

Investors and Publicity

Through our BioCapital Network, we provide BioEntrepreneur Club members with unparalleled access to the UK's largest network of life science investors. We regularly host investor office hours, sector-specific Investor-Founder Mixers, demo days and the opportunity to share a deck with the whole BioCapital Network.

We give members a platform to showcase their innovation through our Sector Insights and Startup Spotlights, expertly pulled together by our Science Writers and then shared to the SEC's international following of over 5,000 individuals including entrepreneurs, investors, and industry players.

Innovators Club

Once a year, we run a free 10-week network accelerator programme designed for pre-seed companies in the BioEntrepreneur Club. Alongside a series of expert-led workshops on essential start-up topics, the programme also includes 1-to-1 investor sessions, a bespoke published Startup Spotlight and the opportunity to pitch to the BioCapital Network.

The BioEntrepreneur Club is the best network for biotech/health tech startups. In addition to connecting us with investors, they also create an amazing ecosystem with other startups, some of which have now become our clients. The networking as always deeply considered and useful, led by people who care deeply about innovation.

I have great respect for the SEC team and always recommend joining to my network.

We owe a huge thanks to the BioEntrepreneur Club, especially for organising their investor-founder dinners. In addition to being good fun, at one of the dinners we were fortunate to meet an investor who immediately understood the huge potential of what we are building. Just a few weeks later they offered us a term sheet and have subsequently invested in our most recent round.
